Of all the potential benefits of reiki, the most important is reconnection to one's own innate natural capacities.

While research is limited, studies have shown improvements in parameters such as immune response, blood pressure, healing time, emotional balance, blood counts, pain relief, and of course relaxation. In the case of broken bones, reiki should be reserved for the post-op recovery phase.

Healing Touch On or Off the Body

Reiki energy is traditionally transferred through the practitioner's hands, directly via body contact or at a distance.

Clients lay clothed on a massage table, and are free to speak or sleep as reiki is performed. The practioner moves to various locations around the body, applying hands to key acupoints either by direct touch or off the body if that is preferred. Reiki can even be performed from a distance via meditative focus.

Our photography studio, DavisPhotoArts, is located in Hillsboro to the west of Portland. We have a wide and amply cushioned massage table for maxiumum comfort with warm blankets and the occasional visit from our kitty Lola.
Half Hour...$150 (card), $120 (cash).
Full Hour...$300 (card), $240 (cash).
